Chase Anderson Photo Named One of the Best Event Photographers in Atlanta

In its October 2026 update, Peerspace named us one of the best event photographers in Atlanta. Here's the story of how actor headshots turned into corporate headshots, event coverage, and everything in between.

Pretty cool news! Peerspace just named us one of the best event photographers in Atlanta!

A little backstory, if you'll allow me :). Alyssa Matusiak and I came up in the Atlanta film industry boom of the last decade, and for years most of our work was actor headshots. Then the 2023 writers' and actors' strikes hit, and auditions, and the headshots that go with them, slowed down considerably. We decided pretty quickly that we didn't want our whole business riding on one industry.

So we took what we knew best, headshots, and brought it to the corporate world. That opened the door to the events those companies were throwing. Now a lot of our gigs are both at once: one of our team members is out on the floor covering the keynote, the networking and the candid moments, while a headshot booth runs nearby, so attendees walk away with a fresh LinkedIn (or Instagram 😁) photo.

We still love shooting actors, and that's not going anywhere. But it's been a blast watching the event side grow, and making this list feels like a nice sign the diversification is working. Huge thanks to every client, planner and venue who's taken a chance on us along the way.
