Ahmad Barber and Donté Maurice of AB+DM have shot some of the most recognizable editorial portraits of the past few years, for subjects from Zendaya to Viola Davis. When they brought their first in-person workshop, The Art of Editorial Light, to Atlanta, our team was there with cameras rolling. The video below captures the duo breaking down their approach to light, direction, and on-set collaboration for a room full of photographers ready to level up.
